Rahway is in the middle of a Renaissance. It’s the place to watch, says the New York Times. Mayor James J. Kennedy, envisions a lively cultural community radiating from its core cultural organizations located in the heart of the Rahway Arts District. The Union County Performing Arts
Center, the Arts Guild of Rahway, the Craftsman Club are all housed in architecturally historic sites and the future site of the Rahway Cultural Park (name to be decided) will contribute in making Rahway one of New Jersey’s newest destination sites ~ a great place to visit and a great place to live.

The Rahway Arts District is located in the Northern sector of the Rahway Business District, bordered by the NJ Transit rails and the two branches of the Rahway River. The area is rife with burgeoning life including cultural hubs both established and new. Our galleries, artist studios, along with commercial, residential and retail redevelopment will host and support exciting events, popular and contemporary cultural programs and educational activities. The Rahway Arts District is an exciting place to be enjoyed by citizens of Rahway and visitors alike.
